Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza was born in 1984. Her profession is actor from the United States and comedian. She stars as April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. She made her debut in The Jeannie Tate Show the web-based series, after performing sketch comedy and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. She continued her career with guest appearances in Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim and vs. World. Her birth should be celebrated this day. Aubrey Christina Plaza is the daughter of Bernadette Plaza, an attorney and David Plaza, a financial expert. She was born in Wilmington Delaware. Their father was Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza was a student at a Catholic girls school from 2002 until 2006. She then attended the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. While a student at Wilmington Drama League, Plaza served as the President of their Student Government. Plaza had a stroke 2004, while she was studying at a college. She was diagnosed with expressive aphasia. She also experienced a brief period of the paralysis. She's now completely recovered. Plaza has been performing improv sketch comedy and a myriad of different forms at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. Also in the city of New York, she has appeared in stand-up shows in stand-up comedy at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza was featured in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street and The Jeannie Tate Show as Robin Gibney as well as the first season of Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz. In CollegeHumor Troopers she played the satirical sci-fi character the Princess. Plaza made her saxophone debut in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. In 2012 she performed her saxophone debut in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings. HarmonQuest was a show in 2016 that included Plaza in the role of Hawaiian Coffee. Also, she portrayed Aaron Burr in Drunk History, and Cat Adams for Season 11 of the C.B.S. show on television Criminal Minds. In the 12th season, she returned to the show with a resounding success in the part. It was announced a year after that Plaza will appear in an unscripted comedy called An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
