Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most famous role was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting during her time at Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She attended theatre classes at Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career working in the Chicago area theatres for a few years. After that, she switched to film and television. Anna was the first to get a major part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. The actress continued to make appearances as guest stars on a handful of TV movies and shows like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's, when she was cast in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully in addition to Deadwood was another movie she appeared in. Gunn has also appeared on the stage in a David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also starred in a four-part audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last seasons that were the life of Walter White.
